📍MCU Tripitaka Studies Institute Celebrates Its 8th Anniversary with an Academic Seminar on “Peace in the Tripitaka”
🗓️ On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the Tripitaka Studies Institute, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, organized a merit-making ceremony to mark its 8th anniversary along with an academic seminar on the Tripitaka and Buddhist scriptures. The event took place at the Phra Dhammaworanayok Building (Somboon Chanthako), Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
📝Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of MCU, graciously presided over the ceremony and delivered a special lecture titled “Peace in the Tripitaka: From Individual to Global Society.” The event featured a merit-making and certificate presentation ceremony in the morning, followed by an afternoon academic seminar on “Buddhist Wisdom in the Tripitaka: Perspectives on War, Violence, and Peaceful Coexistence of Mankind” by distinguished speakers. This initiative aimed to promote the study and propagation of Buddhist teachings to the global society.
📝On this occasion, Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, was assigned to serve as the master of ceremonies (Emcee) throughout the event, supporting and driving the university’s academic activities to ensure smooth and effective operations.

🗓️วันพฤหัสบดีที่ ๒ กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. ๒๕๖๙ สถาบันพระไตรปิฎกศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย จัดงานทำบุญครบรอบ ๘ ปี วันก่อตั้งสถาบันฯ และสัมมนาทางวิชาการด้านพระไตรปิฎกและคัมภีร์ทางพระพุทธศาสนา ณ อาคารพระธรรมวรนายก (สมบูรณ์ จนฺทโก) มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย อำเภอวังน้อย จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา
📝โดยได้รับความเมตตาจาก พระพรหมวัชรธีราจารย์, ศ.ดร. อธิการบดี เป็นประธานในพิธีและบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “สันติภาพในพระไตรปิฎก: จากปัจเจกบุคคลสู่สังคมโลก” กิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบด้วย พิธีทำบุญและมอบเกียรติบัตรแก่ผู้มีอุปการคุณในภาคเช้า และการสัมมนาวิชาการในภาคบ่ายเรื่อง “พุทธปัญญาในพระไตรปิฎก: มุมมองต่อสงคราม ความรุนแรง และการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสันติของมวลมนุษยชาติ” โดยมีวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิระดับศาสตราจารย์ร่วมบรรยาย เพื่อส่งเสริมการศึกษาและเผยแผ่หลักธรรมคำสอนทางพระพุทธศาสนาสู่สังคมโลก
📝ในการนี้ พระมหาสมชาย กิตฺติปญฺโญ, ดร. หัวหน้าภาควิชาภาษาต่างประเทศ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ ได้รับมอบหมายให้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่เป็นพิธีกรดำเนินรายการตลอดทั้งงาน เพื่อร่วมสนับสนุนและขับเคลื่อนกิจกรรมทางวิชาการระดับชาติของมหาวิทยาลัยให้ดำเนินไปอย่างเรียบร้อยและมีประสิทธิภาพสืบไป
