📍MCU Representative Participates in the Asian Buddhist Conference for Peace (ABCP) in India
🗓️The Asian Buddhist Conference for Peace (ABCP) was held on 1–2 April 2026 in Bodh Gaya, India, organized by the ABCP Center in collaboration with partner networks. On this occasion, Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Director of the Ph.D. Program in Linguistics, Faculty of Humanities, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, participated in the conference on 1 April (09:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Indian time), together with Buddhist representatives from 14 countries representing Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna traditions.
📝The conference was conducted under the theme “Bodhisattva: Wisdom and Compassion,” aiming to promote dialogue and cooperation for world peace. Participants also joined in a chanting ceremony to celebrate the 90th birthday anniversary of the 14th Dalai Lama, honoring his lifelong dedication to spreading the Buddha’s teachings through loving-kindness, compassion, and selfless service to humanity.
📍เข้าร่วมการประชุมชาวพุทธอาเซียนเพื่อสันติภาพ (ABCP) ณ ประเทศอินเดีย
🗓️ระหว่างวันที่ 1–2 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2569 การประชุมชาวพุทธอาเซียนเพื่อสันติภาพ (Asian Buddhist Conference for Peace: ABCP) จัดขึ้น ณ พุทธคยา ประเทศอินเดีย โดยความร่วมมือของศูนย์กลาง ABCP และภาคีเครือข่าย ในการนี้ พระมหาสมชาย กิตฺติปญฺโญ, ดร. หัวหน้าภาควิชาภาษาต่างประเทศ และผู้อำนวยการหลักสูตรปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาศาสตร์ คณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม เมื่อวันที่ 1 เมษายน เวลา 09.00–17.30 น. (เวลาประเทศอินเดีย) ร่วมกับชาวพุทธจาก 14 ประเทศ ครอบคลุมทั้งนิกายเถรวาท มหายาน และวัชรยาน
📝การประชุมจัดขึ้นภายใต้หัวข้อ “พระโพธิสัตว์ ปัญญา และความกรุณา” โดยผู้เข้าร่วมได้แลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิดทางพระพุทธศาสนาเพื่อส่งเสริมสันติภาพโลก และในโอกาสนี้ คณะผู้เข้าร่วมยังได้ร่วมสวดมนต์เจริญพระพุทธมนต์ถวายพระพร เนื่องในโอกาสอายุวัฒนมงคล 90 ปี แด่ ทะไลลามะที่ 14 ผู้นำทางจิตวิญญาณของชาวทิเบต ผู้ทรงปฏิบัติตามแนวทางพระโพธิสัตว์ด้วยเมตตา กรุณา และการอุทิศตนเพื่อมวลมนุษยชาติ
